Turn On Live Closed Captions

  1. Start or join a Zoom meeting.
  2. Select More (⋯) from the meeting toolbar.

  1. From the More menu, select Show captions.

  1. Once enabled, Zoom will display a notification indicating that captions are active.



Adjust Caption Settings

After captions are enabled:

  1. Select the Settings (⚙️) icon located next to the captions menu.
  2. Choose from the following options:
    • Caption Language – Select the language used for automatic captioning.
    • Caption Style – Adjust how captions appear on your screen.
    • Pop Out Overlay – Display captions in a separate movable window.
