A book in Moodle is a series of connected pages kind of like a user manual. Your syllabus for each course in Moodle will use the book tool to display important information about the course such as due dates, grading information, and course policies.
1. Open your course in Moodle and select Course Syllabus.
2. When you click on Course Syllabus to access its information, you will see that it has a block called a Table of Contents. Depending on the screen size of your device, your Table of Contents could be at the bottom of the page.
The Table of Contents shows the different sections or chapters of the syllabus book. Clicking on a chapter will take you to that section of information.
3. Or, you can use the navigating arrows to view the content in the syllabus book.
4. If you would like print your syllabus book, click the cogwheel and select either print chapter or print the entire book. You can also save the syllabus book as a PDF to your device by select “Save As PDF” from the printing menu.
