WATCH ME! VIDEO TUTORIAL ON PANOPTO: Recorded Tutorial for using Panopto
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This article will go over the steps needed to create a video in Panopto and submit it to a video assignment in Moodle.
To submit a video assignment using Panopto:
1. Log into and on the course page, click on the assignment title then click ADD Panopto Submission

A window will appear, Select Panopto submission, showing the embedded video selector. You have three options for embedding Panopto content: CHOOSE, UPLOAD, or RECORD
Choose: To choose an existing recording, browse through your available folders, select your video, and then click Insert (You would use this option if you already recorded the content)
Upload: To upload (drap and drop) an existing video or audio file (must be MP4 file), select the Upload tab. This could be a Zoom recording or a video you have saved from another recording platform that is MP4.

When you see the green bar complete its process, it is NOT DONE UPLOADING. Please waiting for Processing to reach 100%. Only then will your recording be successfully uploaded.
Record: On the Record tab, use Capture (Browser) and click the Launch Capture button to begin the recording process with Panopto.
Note: if you record a video using the Panopto APP you MUST log into Moodle, CHOOSE your video recording and click Insert to submit the video.

NOTE: If you see spinning on your screen, this means your video is still uploading and saving. Please allow time for the video to complete this process (this can take several minutes). If you do not see an image on your video and it is black or grey - your video is either still uploading or didnt not save successfully.
You may view your submission on the Moodle page. If you are happy with the submission, select Submit

*Please NOTE: If your video does not show your image/presentation and is GREYED out in the snip it of the video - your video did not upload correctly and will not be viewable. You will need to record or upload again.
Once your video is uploaded or recorded, it is first added to its related Panopto assignment folder. Once you submit your video, it is moved to the Panopto student submissions subfolder in the course's Panopto folder.
