Step 1: Get Access Through Your LSUA Email Account or by a Class Link
LSUA Email Access:
Check your email
Look for an invitation email from CourseraClick the Join Now or Accept Invitation link.
Create a Coursera account
Use your @lsua.edu email address
If you already have a Coursera account, log in and accept the invitation.
If you're new to Coursera, follow the prompts to set up a free account.
Class Link Access:
- If your class is required to complete an activity or certificaiton in Coursera, a link will be sent to you.

Step 2: Browse Available Courses
Once you're logged in:
Click on “My Learning” at the top to see any courses assigned or recommended for you.
To browse the full catalog:
Go to coursera.org
Use the search bar to look up topics like "Project Management," "Data Analytics," or "Google IT Support."
Tip: Look for courses labeled as Professional Certificates or Specializations if you're aiming for a credential.
Step 3: Enroll in a Course
Once you find a course, click on the title.
Press the “Enroll for Free” button.
Choose Audit or Free Enrollment if available, or Enroll through your organization if prompted
Step 4: Complete Your Certification Course
Watch videos and complete quizzes, assignments, and discussions.
Stay on schedule: Some certifications have suggested weekly deadlines.
Earn your certificate by completing all required components.
