You will notice that when you attempt to add an External Tool or a Zoom to your course, you will not see these options in the list when you click on the "Add an activity or resource" button. These LTI External Tools will need to be added manually to your "Add an activity or resource" list.
Below are the steps to add your most frequently used LTI External Tools, including Zoom to your Activity or Resource list.
- Go to the course that an LTI External Tool needs to be added.
- Toggle on Edit Mode, top right corner of Course page.
- At the top of the Course Page, below the Course Title/Name you will click on More and click on LTI External tools.
- Scroll down and select Show all 39, you will see the entire list of LTI external tools. You will find Zoom here also.
- You will toggle on the LTI external tool you want to use. Scroll up to the top and click the Add Tool purple button.
7. You will be taken to Add New LTI External Tool page. You will not complete any information here, however you can adjust the Services or Privacy settings. If you adjust settings, please click Save Changes. If no adjustments need to be made Click Cancel.
8. You will be directed back to the LTI External Tools page, from here you will click Course, below the course name/title.
9. You can now find the Module you want to add the external tool or Zoom. At the bottom of the Module you will click the Add an activity or resource button, and you will see your selected LTI in the list that you can click and apply to your Module.
