Faculty:  You will report procotring requirements in myLSUA PRIOR to your class beginnning.    All faculty will report whether you require proctored exams or not.  We use this reporting to generate proctoring codes for specific online students.  Below you will find a guide that will walk you through how to report your proctoring requirements per course. 


1.  Visit my.lsua.edu and sign in with your LSUA Credentials.


2.  Click on the NOTIFICATION BELL icon to the right of your profile.

3.  Once you select the Notification Bell -- go to the ACTION CENTER and click on "Courses to Report Proctored Exams".


4.  You will now see a list of all of the courses you are assigned to as faculty.  Please select a course and follow the steps to report proctoring needs.  Please complete this process for ALL courses assigned to you. 




5.  Once you select your course, CHOOSE a service from the PROCTOR SERVICE drop down.  NOTE:  You can also indicate in the drop down that you do not require proctoring by selecting None for the proctor service.

   




6.  Once you select which proctoring service you utilize, you will then enter the Exam Name and Expected Exam Start Date

NOTE: THIS SAMPLE IS FOR MONITOREDU

Exam Name:

  • Needs to match what you call it in Moodle/course site
  • A separate entry is needed for EACH exam/test  - Click Add Exam Button
  • Each separate test/exam must have a different name
  • Must click SAVE once all exams are entered

                Examples:  (Test 1, Exam 2, Mid-term, Final, Writing Sample 1)

Expected Exam Start Date :       

  • Choose first date students take the test - not date student needs to schedule if ProctorU – remember students must schedule at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance for ProctorU. 


7.  Once you select which proctoring service, you will need to enter the Exam Name and Expected exam Start Date.

8.  Once procotring is reported for a course, you will see a note next to the course indicated that is has been "REPORTED ON" .


9.  Should you need to adjust the information you initially reported, you can go through your MyLSUA site, click on the Faculty Tab, then select "COURSE EXAMS".  




Additional Notes:

  1. You do have the ability to go back and make an edit to a course if you need to.  
  2. You must press SAVE to save the data you have selected.
  3. To add additional exams,for a course, press the ADD EXAM button.
