Add the ProctorU External Tool
Adding this tool will create a link for students to access the ProctorU resources for scheduling their proctored exam.
1. Navigate to your Moodle course and Turn Editing On.
2. In a module of your course (we recommend the top section), click +Add an Activity or Resource and select External Tool.
3. In the Activity name field, type “Access ProctorU Resources” and select ProctorU from the Preconfigured tool dropdown menu.
4. Next, click Show more and select Embed without blocks from the Launch container options.
5. Click Save and return to course.
Add a Link to MonitorEdu's Student Guide
Providing a link to MonitorEdu's Student Guide will provide students with instructions on paying for their exam, testing their connection/equipment, and starting their exam with MonitorEdu.
1. With editing turned on in your course, click +Add an activity or resource.
2. Next, select URL.
3. In the Name field, type something like “How to Schedule an Exam with MonitorEdu."
4. In the External URL field, copy and paste the following link: https://helpdesk.lsua.edu/support/solutions/articles/48001166212-monitoredu-student-guide
5. Click Save and return to course.
Add a Link to LSUA Testing Services
The Testing Center is available ONLY for students with ADA accommodations and those that have approved makeup tests for face-to-face classes.
1. With editing still turned on in your course, in the top section preferably under the ProctorU External Tool, click +Add an Activity or Resource.
2. Select URL.
3. In the Name field, type “Schedule an On-Campus, Proctored Exam with LSUA Testing Center”.
In the External URL field, copy and paste the following link: https://www2.registerblast.com/lsua/Exam/List
4. In the Appearance section, choose New Window from the Display drop down menu.
5. Click Save and return to course.
